Due to the highly positive response to our United States Documents Masterfile webinar last week, we are offering two more sessions for those who were unable to attend the first.
Our offer of free access to United State Documents Masterfile through June of this year continues to garner a heartening response from the research and library community. We’re very happy that we can provide a service that both demystifies government documents and provides full-text access to millions of government publications in this challenging time.
We’re offering two webinars for existing customers of U.S. Documents Masterfile as an added benefit to the library community.
Topics that will be covered:
- General overview of U.S. Documents Masterfile, features and search strategies.
- Discussion of how it can be of use to researchers in a variety of fields.
So please plan to join us Wednesday, April 22th, at 10:00 am or 2:00pm EDT (7:00am or 11:00am PDT). Two sessions are being offered to accommodate those on the east and west coast of the United States as well as our international customers, so pick the one easiest for you to attend. As with the first, the webinar will be recorded.
The sessions will be run by Andrea Sevetson, a librarian and authority on government information. Andrea has worked with government documents for over 30 years, having held positions at the University of California, Berkeley; the U.S. Census Bureau; LexisNexis; and ProQuest. She has served in numerous library organizations and has written extensively on the use of government information.
To receive an invitation, send an email to info@paratext.com with the subject line “USDM Webinar 1 - 4/22/2020” or “USDM Webinar 2 - 4/22/2020,” depending on the session you wish to attend. Space is limited, so reserve your spot now.
We hope that you will join us for these instructional and helpful sessions.
If you are not a current customer of U.S. Documents Masterfile and would like to take advantage of free access through June 2020, sign up is easy:
- If you have already worked with Paratext, send a note to info@paratext.com and we’ll set up access for you again.
- If you haven’t worked with Paratext previously, submit a request via our request page and include your IPs (remote access IP addresses as well).
